华埠新影像 New Images of Vancouver’s Chinatown.

Do you like the changes of recent years? Some don’t ! Is there such a thing as change too fast? 温哥华唐人街盛极而衰沉默十数年。好不容易才乘楼市兴旺而翻身，却引起部分人士不满。以下图片多少反映出此一现象。

Bus services to Chinatown are still good. My camera couldn’t capture the Digital display (see them under the big V). 华埠公车服务仍佳，部分车站有等候时间电子显示牌，但我的相机无法拍到全字或全句。

Chinatown seniors have to go elsewhere to shop and they like to go together ,each carrying one or two shopping carts, add a baby or/and a wheel chair you will have a war zone on the bus. 华埠商店买少见少, 居民往往要乘巴士到其它地方购物, 很多时呼朋引类, 十架车仔齐齐上, 途中如有婴儿车上来, 情况混乱。不敢想像遇着大轮椅也要上车时的狼狈!

Everybody is happy back in Chinatown and off the bus. 回到唐人街大大松了一口气。

There is T&T Super Store a few blocks from Chinatown and no need to take the bus. 不论年轻年长, 近年多了人推车仔或拖车仔购物。

Bicycle any one ? Take one from one of the 3 Chinatown locations 單車共享華埠最少有三處

Car2Go have many parking restricted areas for them to use. 汽車共享可停車於一般人不準泊車的地方

One of the Heritage buildings. 華埠有多间屋、大厦被定為文物保留建築，此乃其一，旁边左方空地起不成多戶商住大厦.說太接近「加華丰碑」。

Protesting re-development of this land near the Monument-Memorial statues of Chinese railroad workers and Canadian Chinese WWII soldiers . 反對先僑紀念碑附近建新厦。

Protesters playing M.J under the hot sun. 青年人準備長期作戰. 在烈日下玩麻雀. 十年零發展, 地產商不知何去何從。

Nothing like these will happen near the Statue. 相信無法建成這樣高的大厦。

Nice tall buildings had changed the face of Chinatown. 新厦带来较佳的居住环境。

Almost didn’t know this is good old Chinatown. 几乎不认识这是温哥华古老唐人街。

Take a look at the Classical Chinese Gardens whenever you go to visit Chinatown in the future, it’s lovely in all seasons. 有空多些去中山公园看看，四季景色各不同。

Spring comes to the Gardens. 翠湖春晓.
